Loosely based on the 2013 Little India Riot, Singapore, 'Riot' is about a Chinese teenager who seeks solemn in an Indian lady’s shop during the little India Riot where he learns an important lesson - Respect.

Four individuals, Ooi Kim Thong, Lim Chin Kiat, Ms Lim, and Koh Ben Hwee, bring us through a nostalgic journey of their time in Pearls Centre. Their memories from decades ago resurface as they reminisce about the good old days, when Pearls Centre was full of life. This documentary explores the inner emotions of these elderly workers, as well as the special bonds that have been forged between them over the years. Pearls Centre will soon be gone, but the memories of these people will live on forever.
